Seminar in the vineyards

Specific situations call for specific measurements – during a pandemic this can mean to exchange the seminar room with the outdoors like PhD students and faculty members of the doctoral program in microbial symbioses did this week. In the relaxed atmosphere of the vineyards, several PhDs presented their projects to the group, who participated vividly in the following discussions. Especially for the students who started their projects amidst these challenging times, this event was an important opportunity to connect with their peers face-to-face. The day was closed on top of the Nußberg, not only having food and drinks but also a stunning view over Vienna.
