Hans and Lotte Hass prize for marine ecology awarded to Sarah Zauner

Sarah Zauner is one of three young researchers that received a scholarship as part of the sixth Science Day hosted by the “Haus des Meeres” (Aqua Terra Zoo of Vienna) on January 28, 2020. The Hans and Lotte Hass prize for marine ecology, which is endowed with 6000 euro, was awarded to Sarah for her future project “Seagrass, lucinid bivalves & bacteria - A tripartite interplay supports the foundation of blue carbon ecosystems under threat”. The planned investigations will add further aspects to Sarahs PhD work on the fascinating inter-kingdom symbiosis. Congratulations!
