New publication in Nature Microbiology


Scientists from the Division of Microbial Ecology, together with the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology in Germany discovered that deep-sea mussels can associate with 16 distinct symbiont strains that all differ in the functions they fulfil for their hosts.
